Vanessa’s first narrative short
Catching Spirits won the Jury Award
Live Action Short at New Hampshire
Film Festival making it
Academy Awards eligible in 2023.
She was selected as a 2024 fellow
of the prestigious
AFI Directing Workshop for Women+,
where she directed the
supernatural thriller Evil, I.
She is currently in the Sony Pictures TV Directing Program.
